The ‘Whispers of the Wind’ Series is a continuous work whereby the artist manually has sewn leaves one by one onto paper or canvas creating a three-dimensional work. These leaves are then connected to tiny motors to create movement simulating wind onto the leaves, creating an artificial sense of life in the leaves. It explores the feeling of wind through sense of time and movement.

Natural Frames uses repetition to form a perspective on the secluded and open space. This is done through a performance whereby I rearrange flower petals, fallen leaves or any other decay on the floor by hand into a present border or frame on the street, often a stone tile. This refers to the control of humans over the nature by the use of borders around the natural material and arranging it in very specific forms. However, the weather causes the temporality of the work, creating an intimate moment in time while also suggesting the impossibility of controlling nature to the humans need.
