infoThe eight members of The Holls breached Art Brussels as they meticulously carried out performances with 200 kg of confetti, according to a fixed time schedule. The pile of confetti was a recipe for chaos, creating a situation that related to the conditions of the art fair.

infoIn collaboration with Showroom MAMA, The Holls Collective outsourced a performance script to an outsourcing company in India. The script contained instructions for the making of a group photo. A group of eight people from a theatre group in India was asked to decide on a group identity and take a photo considering the characteristics belonging to this identity. They were asked to document the whole process, the making of the photo as well as their discussion about identity.

infoThe Holls Collective annexed the Hortus Botanicus, where the collective subsequently built a settlement. By way of projections, transmigration and boat transport The Holls gained ground on the Hortus, which resulted in a continuous performance during this edition of museumnacht Leiden.

infoOn January 13th, 2014, The Holls Collective celebrated its first birthday. For the occasion of this one-year anniversary The Holls took one week to fold and cast 1000 plaster party hats. The Holls Collective became a factory. The birthday of The Holls Collective coincided with the New Year’s reception of The Hague’s most prominent art institutions and exhibition spaces. The visitors were allowed to take one party hat home, as a party favour.

2011Perfect Strangers/ TENT Rotterdam De groepstentoonstelling Paramaribo Perspectives is nog tot 7 november 2010 te bezichtigen. Paramaribo Perspectives presenteert een zelfbewuste generatie Surinaamse en Nederlandse kunstenaars. In het laatste weekend wordt een extra presentatie geopend met een selectie van werken van jonge kunstenaars studerend aan de Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam en de Koninklijke Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten Den Haag.
