Dépanneur signs - Handletterings for Qu
Titel Dépanneur signs - Handletterings for Qu
Jaartal 2008
Omschrijving A Montreal dépanneur without a sign inspired me to do this lettering project, for which I created dépanneur signs in various styles. Dépanneurs are convenience stores, usually part of a chain, or independently-run corner shops, general stores or delis, found in the province of Quebec, in Canada. I created a book around this project. In addition to lettering, the book contains exterior pictures of dépanneur stores, featuring their signs. The letterings are inspired by handwriting, revivals, and new created shapes.
