Riki Shir Avraham: "My art-works are a combination of drawing, painting, textile and buttons. The latest creations are masks covered with textile, coverbuttons and painting, all inspired bij the Yemenite culture.
I work from emotional impulses and search for sensitivity and fragility in the subjects I choose to work with.
My roots are an enormous part of my work and as a result, I play with symbols, kabbalistic concepts, words and the values of Hebrew letters, (gematria). The works are abstract."
