Selena Savic: "In my work, I am concerned with social organization and the problems of (centralized) distribution systems. I like to connect abstract parts of reality into systems of related elements, often resulting into absurd experiences. With an analytic approach turned to the question of who can produce and consume in today's economy, I wish to offer an overview of the current condition of power structures".

When the tape machine is connected to the arduino, a python script that counts how many times “Obama” is mentioned on a Google News page and sends this values through it to the power supply of the motor. The duration of each loop responds to the news “discourse”, prolonging the length of the sound with the number of occurrences |
