Shereen Abdul -Baki: "Shereen Abdul-Baki is a filmmaker who investigates the intersection of design and narrative cinema in a form she calls Design Cinema. Design Cinema focuses on mutiple media to tell stories, each with a purpose and form that drive and propel the narrative, as opposed to being used as special or added effects. Her subject matter focusses on cultural identity, women, family and food."
