My work is inspired by architectural themes, embedding my own emotional experiences while visiting old buildings such as monasteries, piazzas or old city walls sceneries.
Portals or the faint memory of the mysterious darkness of an open door are often recognized in my paintings, which reflect my journeys through Europe, South America and Africa."
