Clara Pallí Monguilod: "My work tries to understand the making of art within daily life. In this attempt the realms of art and non-art seem to meet in a grey area where it is difficult to define what is what, and where a dialogue between the two takes place. A few things have become recurring elements in these (my) works: the use of non-actors, the performance of daily activities within the setup of an installation, allowing a certain amount of chance in the making of art, exploring the border between staged and casual aesthetics or the placing of questions about art next to questions about life. All means that, at the end, give the spectator the feeling that a mixed sense of familiarity and absurdity cannot easily be unraveled".
